Doron is Greek for gift — and the name the founders chose implies a gift from God. The site covers four acres on the outskirts of Tema, surrounded by land available for purchase when the work expands. The existing foundation is strong enough to support four floors.
Finished, the Center will house an operating theatre and become the hub of the rural medical outreaches. It will take visiting medical teams who want to learn how subtropical illness is actually treated in Africa, and send them out into the villages alongside our own staff.
Because Tema is a fast-growing urban centre, many local residents will be able to pay for their care. That income becomes the sustaining arm of everything else Meaningful Life International does — which is why this project carries urgent status.
